The LA Krewe Rush Competitive division is for the player who is ready to take their development in this sport to the next level. Led by experienced, professional coaching staff, your player will experience an increased volume of soccer in a focused, goal-oriented, competitive environment. Our competitive teams train regularly to further develop their technical skills and tactical understanding of the club style of play.

Year Round Season

Competitive teams are formed in the summer of each year through open tryouts and evaluations. Players are accepted to their team for a one – year (12-month) commitment beginning July 1 to June 30th the following year.


The Competitive program requires travel to local, regional and/or out-of-state tournaments. Individual teams compete at various levels depending upon the competitive needs of the players involved.


Each team participates in 3 main events per season, in addition to the Louisiana Classic Soccer League (LCSL), and in some cases, Gulf States Premier League (GSPL).

U11-U19 Teams

In the 11U-19U age groups, there is a first team (Gold), a second team (Black) and a third team (White) in each age group, when numbers allow.  Older age groups from 16U-19U will have an Academy team instead of a Gold team.  The Academy team designation means they train three times per week .

In the 9U-10U age groups, there are a number of teams designated by colors in each age group. This level is referred to as the Youth Development Program (YDP). Whichever the case, players have made a decision to play competitive soccer and are placed based upon their passion, needs, and ability.

Player Placement

Every year in late April and early June, soccer clubs conduct their annual tryouts to place players on a team based on their abilities. Those tryouts take hundreds of man hours to look at hundreds of players in a short period of time.

When we look at the athletes, we measure their technical and tactical abilities along with their physical and psychological attributes. They will  be  placed within the LA Krewe Rush system. Evaluations will be based on the previously mentioned components in addition to attendance, attitude, team chemistry, and consistency, to name a few.

Fees

Competitive fees range from per season ($1575 to $1750 per year). Payments can be made in installments. Additional customizable payment plans can be requested.

Financial aid is available for those who need it. All fees include club fees, player registration fees, regular field expenses and maintenance, tournament fees, referee fees, and coach travel expenses.

Our Competitive Program exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to take their game to the height of their potential. Additional divisions within our Competitive Program give our top level players more elite playing opportunities.

For our club, our goal is to push our players to reach that "next level" by allowing our members as many opportunities within our local club and national Rush network to improve their overall game all while providing an unparalleled youth soccer experience.
